The ask:
Help UNIQLO rethink its holiday cause marketing campaign to be attention grabbing, authentic and impactful to drive funds for refugees while also benefiting Uniqlo’s business. 

Goals:
Give Basic Essentials to refugees (Undershirts, underwear, socks, mitten, and toques)
Raise money monthly for UNHCR
Increase employee engagement 
Lasting brand loyalty and Awareness
Creating a positive experience for
refugees coming to Canada

The Campaign:
Warm Welcome - Is centred around welcoming refugees into Canada by supplying them with what we call the "Basic Essential" collection. The Basic Essentials consist of underwear, undershirt, socks, mitts, and a toque. Customers can help support this cause by purchasing these items in store.
In-store:
During the month of December all red and white items in the Basic Essentials collection purchased, directly fund these items being given to refugees coming into Canada.  




Next steps:
Every month will have a new colour of Basic Essentials associated with it and will raise money for a new cause surrounding refugees. 
Snowday
We have planned a takeover of Dundas square in Toronto, to start the event off. All the advertising billboards and screens will open the event with a UNIQLO red takeover.  The Snowday event will feature regular winter fair activities with their own twist. UNIQLO will be selling hats and mitts with proceeds going directly to Warm Welcome.
